I am able to install other 3rd party apps just fine (Spotify, Discord, etc) but Google Chrome has not worked whatsoever :( Any advice would be appreciated as Apple support couldn't help either.ĮDIT: solved thanks to /u/ASentientBot - I also performed a completely clean install of Mojave and it installed no problem. I've tried installing on a new Admin account and while in Safe Mode, both of which were unsuccessful. The OS copies the files but when I try to open Google Chrome by double clicking the app's icon, I am prompted with the message "Google Chrome is damaged and can't be opened. The googlechrome.dmg file downloads fine (directly from Google's mirror), but after I drag the Google Chrome icon into my applications folder I am unable to run the actual application.
